Why choose lymphatic drainage?
Manual Lymphatic Drainage is in demand, the market isn’t saturated (as of yet), nor is there enough trained practitioners to meet the demand. This means you would be entering the MLD industry at the perfect time. You will be booked and busy, getting ahead of the curve and cultivating your client base whilst everyone else is still deliberating. If you can become a highly sought after MLD therapist, just before the boom, you have really hit the jackpot. The likes of Kendal Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Hailey Bieber and more, are only just assigning their own MLD therapist to their glam squad. I’m not particularly a celebrity follower, however, I can appreciate their influence and the significance this has on the beauty industry.
What are the benefits of offering lymphatic drainage
massage treatments within a salon?
Not only is it a highly sought-after treatment, but it requires very little financial investment. After selecting your training course, all you need is - insurance, bed roll, body oil and a massage bed. This comes to a grand total of £300, of course this is subjective to your choice of product. If you are in the beauty industry already, you will know how little this is in comparison to the usual over heads. For example, our first body sculpting machine cost £30,000 and the training cost £5,000. When weighing this up, training in MLD is pretty risk free. Most importantly, our society are beginning to appreciate a more natural and holistic approach to beauty, whilst simultaneously valuing the overall health of their bodies. MLD primarily focuses of detoxifying the body – removing toxins, waste product, abnormal cells and reducing inflammation. It just so happens, that if done correctly, you can instantly withdraw your client’s trapped gases and water weight, which in turn leaves them with a sculpted appearance. Their tummies look flatter within 45 minutes, whilst helping them target issues with ongoing bloating. Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a hidden gem of a treatment.
